Period of Contract

Initially for a period of 3 years (can be extended up to 5 years – one year at a time). In case a person leaves before completion of three years, he/she will not get any work experience certificate.

Consultancy Fee (PER MONTH)

For PE:-

A consolidated monthly consultancy fee ranging from ₹ 80,000/- to ₹ 1,20,000/- per month inclusive of all taxes, as approved by competent authority based on the recommendation of “Interview & Selection” Committee at the time of selection. There shall be an annual increase (increment) in the consolidated monthly consultancy fee up to 10% of the existing consultancy fee based on Annual Appraisal as per the applicable rules in DIO.

The individual consultant shall be liable to pay Goods and Services Tax, as applicable.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Essential

For PE:-

Master’s Degree in Science/ Management/Technology or Equivalent with 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

or

Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Management/ Technology or Equivalent with 4 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Previous Relevant experience required

The candidate must have experience in any of the following fields:-

• Experience in the domains of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
• Business development / creating strategic partnerships.
• Program Management.
• Grant Management.
• Consulting / collaboration & partner management/ HR.
• Communications and Outreach.
• Design and implementation of challenges, hackathons, schemes etc.
• Product management.
• IT operations.
• Project management or relevant experience of product development in Start-up or any manufacturing industry.
• Finances/Estimation/Accounting.

Scope of Work

Supporting the iDEX management team by managing specific projects related to any of the following iDEX activities:

•  Forging and managing partnerships with top incubators in the nation to build the innovation ecosystem for defence under the Framework for Partner Incubators.
•  Ensuring design and implementation of various defence related challenges, hackathons, etc. under the SPARK framework.
•  Managing the fund disbursement process for awardees of grants under the various frameworks of iDEX.
•  Creating interactive platforms for effective execution and monitoring of iDEX projects.
•  Ensuring effective and adequate out-reach (using social and traditional media) about iDEX and related endeavours.
•  Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time,within scope and within budget and taking up new projects to further the iDEX agenda.
•  Any other work as assigned by COO/DIO or any superior authority in DIO.
